Empanada Nation

After shopping for some Christmas décor in Dapitan Arcade, we decided to grab a bite somewhere within the vicinity since it's quite early to go home. We landed in the scout area then suddenly thought of empandas. Good thing Empanada Nation is just around the corner.

BON Banhmi

This hidden treasure serves authentic Vietnamese sandwich and sometimes called a "bánh mì" sandwich. It is a product of French colonialism in Indochina. This is truly "Tasty, Crispy till the last piece!" The Roast Pork Bahnmi is a must try.

Market Cafe Hyatt Hotel

What a great way to spend a special day. Cozy and spacious dining area, the staff and crew were very attentive and polite. Choices of food are also wide and it includes unlimited drinks, although it's just soda and beer. Since I'm not a fan of soda anymore I settled with water. This place is a must visit.

Big Better Burgers

It was a tough day for me and tired to cook dinner so I decided to grab a bite on my way home. I have been passing by this small burger joint every day when I go to work but I don't have the chance to try it. The price is very reasonable and the taste is good.

Pigoutboi in Thailand

This whole trip was actually a surprise. I thought it will just be a regular birthday celebration but turned out to be a very wonderful experience I could never forget, of course food is something I can't miss when I travel.

My trip will not be complete without sipping on this hot Tom Yam
(authentic Thai sour soup)

Rolling Pad Thai street vendor, you will never miss one

I had to pay 10 baht or around 13 pesos just to take unlimited pictures.
Oh well for whatever it's worth I have to Instagram these

Deep fried tarantulas

I'm just not sure if these are grasshoppers or crickets. Looks crunchy though.

Just seeing these make me freak out, what more if it's in your mouth eh?
 I tried but failed

Spectrum

Buffet restaurant in hotels are something I look forward in trying. The choices of food, ambiance, service and the price. Too bad I was not able to take pictures of how Spectrum looks like inside since it was a busy lunch weekday. Can't really complain about the food because it taste good but the number of choices are quite few for the price.

TimHoWan

Seeing people standing in line for hours made me really curious on how different TimHoWan is with other dim sum restaurant. What's good is the service. Efficient crew, they're really fast and polite but the place is quite small. The food was just right, no "wow" factor really and it's a bit pricy for a dim sum. But all in all I enjoyed it. The baked bbq pork bun is a must try.
